The Venetian School allowed composers to innovate a new compositional style as never heard before. This programme brings together works inspired by one of the most exciting spaces in music history, with an evening of majestic beauty which only the Italians could create.
Armonico Consort’s Baroque Players have developed a fine reputation across the UK and throughout Europe. Hand-picked for their superb technique on instruments of the period, their ability to confidently mix personality, humanity and spirituality through their performance is second to none.
The concert will also be a chance for the choir of Armonico Consort to bring to life Vivaldi’s effervescent ‘Gloria’ for the first time in Warwick since its launch concert twelve years ago.
