Safeguarding at Armonico Consort
At Armonico Consort, the safety and wellbeing of every child, young person and adult at risk in our care is our highest priority. We believe that everyone has the right to participate in music-making and education in an environment that is safe, respectful and nurturing.
Our safeguarding policies set out clear standards and procedures to ensure that all our staff, freelance leaders, volunteers and partners understand their responsibilities and act in accordance with national legislation and best practice, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (DfE 2025), the Care Act 2014 and the Online Safety Act 2023.
We are committed to promoting a culture where safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, underpinned by robust recruitment, training, reporting and review processes. Our Designated Safeguarding Leads, Nathan Cole and Ann Hannan, oversee this work and ensure that any concerns are responded to swiftly, appropriately and with care.
