Armonico Consort’s singing cyclists, led by TV wine expert and former choral singer Oz Clarke, are celebrating smashing the £20,000 fundraising target for their 2026 Charity Bike Challenge.
After four days in the saddle, tackling the punishing climbs of the Jurassic Coast while giving concerts and schools workshops, busking and visiting care homes, the team have banked a staggering £24,219.

All the money raised will help establish children’s choirs and dementia choirs across the region, bringing the transformative power of music to people of all ages.
This is something Armonico has been doing for many years – including in the Poole and Bournemouth area – and now, new relationships in Devon and Dorset will bring our signature school Choir Creation programme and Memory Singers projects to the region.

Across the four days in September, Oz & Armonico have:
- busked in pub gardens and cafés
- brought joy and memories to people living with dementia
- inspired schoolchildren through singing workshops
- performed concerts in churches with local guest choirs
- cycled from Exeter to Wimborne in their hilliest challenge yet

With special thanks to our sponsor Isola Garden Design for their generous support. Our thanks also to Roger Medwell MBE DL, President of Armonico Consort, Micropathology Ltd, and BluDog for their support, and to our wonderful musicians for donating their time and talent for this vital cause.
Happy 25th birthday Armonico Consort – what a way to start the celebrations!
