Chaperone Guidance

Our chaperones play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all children taking part in Armonico Consort activities. Acting in loco parentis, they provide supervision, care and support throughout rehearsals, concerts and events.

This guidance outlines the responsibilities of both licensed and unlicensed chaperones, including safeguarding procedures, supervision ratios, and conduct expectations in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (DfE 2025) and Armonico Consort’s Safeguarding Policy.

All chaperones are expected to read and follow this guidance carefully to help us maintain a safe, inclusive and professional environment for every young performer. Download the chaperone guidance here.
