As part of our Virtual Royal Albert Hall Festival Week (1-5 June) we’ll be hosting twice-daily Sing with Simon workshops, devised with the Over 60s in mind.

These fun, singing sessions are led by Simon Lole, one of Armonico Consort’s specialist workshop leaders, and are open to all via YouTube.

Each morning at 11am during Festival Week, join Simon for a half hour session singing popular songs from The Beatles to the Beach Boys and Sandie Shaw to Frank Sinatra.

Then at 3pm, Sing With Simon will be especially designed for people in isolation, in retirement villages and care homes, and particularly beneficial to those with dementia for whom singing well-known songs helps to re-awaken memories and spark communication.

We’ve launched an appeal to help raise funds to support our projects with older people, especially those with dementia, who are suffering acutely from isolation during the current crisis.  Please visit our Just Giving page for full details.  Your help is very gratefully received.
