AC Academy Scholars
AC Academy Scholars are a group of young singers who rehearse once a week in Warwick singing all genres of music and regularly performing with the five star award winning professional singers of Armonico Consort. They also sing in prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall!
AC Tour to Belgium 2024
Criteria to become a Scholar:
- Aged 13-18 years old
- Able to attend our weekly AC Academy Youth Choir which meets on a Tuesday in central Warwick 5pm-6.30pm in term time (cost £6 per week)
- Able to commit to 4-5 projects/concerts a year (including attendance at evening rehearsals in Warwick during the 3-4 weeks leading up to concerts)
- Able to commit to learning repertoire independently for concerts (an ability to read music is desirable)
- Pass a successful audition

The Scholar Experience:
- Perform alongside professional singers and musicians
- Regularly perform at both local and prestigious venues
- Solo opportunities
- FREE singing lessons and coaching with leading professionals
- Regular masterclasses with renowned singers such as Roddy Williams, Elin Manahan Thomas and Sir Willard White
- Oxbridge/university choral scholarship entry support
- An opportunity to boost confidence and self esteem
- Bi-annual International Tours (subsidised places available)

Scholar Achievements:
- A winner and a semi finalist in the 2024 BBC Young Chorister competition!
- Two successful Oxbridge Choral Scholarships
- A singing/acting role secured in an RSC production later this year
