AC Academy Scholars sing for the Princess

Our AC Academy Scholars had the honour of singing for HRH The Princess Royal when she visited Warwick on 5 November to celebrate the work of local charities and organisations.

The Scholars, representing Armonico Consort, were among several charities and children from local primary schools who gathered at Warwick School for the event.

The Princess Royal and guests of honour enjoyed hearing them perform Toby Young’s ‘My Letter to the World’ which was written specially for them.

The event also introduced ‘Warwick – A Singing Town’, a new project that Armonico Consort is proud to be in partnership with. The project aims to bring singing permanently into the lives of young people in Warwick and promote the health and social benefits of singing.
